Achieving quality starts with properly instructing the new cleaners, and continues with a thorough nightly inspection by the cleaner’s direct supervisor. The inspection is clearly targeted at checking “the basics” throughout the entire building, with particular attention given to work performed by new or recently assigned cleaners, to “public areas”, and areas with special requirements.
At Super Shine, we instruct our supervisors to inspect their areas of responsibility after work has been completed. Any routes assigned to new cleaners must be checked in their entirety. The work of experienced employees is also inspected, and all sections are inspected thoroughly enough such that the supervisor feels confident that he or she has caught and corrected any errors
